Hi Dave,
Just been listening to some of your talks about alcohol and drugs. I was wondering if you think that all people who become addicted to a substance become addicted for the same reasons and respond to the same treatments? Do you know any data on this and maybe on whether people of particular temperaments (ex. introvert/extrovert) tend to become addicted more than others or more to particular substances?

Hi EMily,
It seems that first off there is no ‘addictive personality’ contrary to what most think. As far as treatment, I don’t know if it matters much about the type of person, though that would not surprise me.
