You can buy codeine over on this side of the border, legally, but only with a prescription. Decongestants, with ephedrine or pseudoephedrine (please excuse my spelling, I’m kinda ill and don’t feel like looking ’em up) can be bought without a prescription but they’re behind the counter drugs. (Doesn’t matter to me, I can’t take decongestants for more than a day, they plaster me to the ceiling and I can’t sleep.)
