It was hard for me to follow the discussion but I don’t think it would make me uncomfortable or sad if globalization changes how Japanese people behave…because how we behave in society changes over time anyway.
If globalization means that being like a Western society and being like a Western society means succeeding to get more money and if that makes all people being under the pressure of an intense competition, I think that part is sad because it is leading everybody to be materialistic.
That is sort of my take Eriko.
