Timing is everything–earlier this evening, Jeopardy had a category of Star Trek episode names, I kid you not. In fact, a contestant actually got “(Blank)’s Brain” WRONG!!!! (“Scotty’s Brain”. I ask you. What are these people DOING with their lives?)
Me either, but they kept re-running them, and then there are the books about the series, and the DVDs, and the title of TOS just stuck. I don’t know all the TNG titles, though, and hardly any from the other members of the franchise. Priorities, priorities…
There’s a local station here in NY that seems to be running TOS Sunday nights at midnight, followed by two episodes of M*A*S*H. I suspect it’s actually a time warp.
